Montag & Caldwell’s social media engagement policy

We operate in a highly regulated industry, with certain rules that need to be followed on social media websites.  We ask that you respect these rules as well. At our discretion, posts and comments that do not comply with these rules will be removed.

  • Montag & Caldwell, LLC (“M&C”) is an SEC registered investment advisor. Comments and “likes” by visitors to its social media pages should not be considered representative of all client experiences, or indicative of future performance or success. M&C does not solicit endorsements of our investment advisory services via comments and “likes,” and asks that you refrain from doing so.
  • Linking to third-party/external content, including retweeting, is for informational purposes only and does not necessarily represent or reflect the views or opinions of M&C. Providing links to third-party content should not be construed as an express or implied endorsement of content.
  • M&C may not be able to respond to your posts. This is not because we aren’t interested but because we must adhere to strict communication guidelines.
  • Please do not post investment advice (like specific stock or fund recommendations), testimonials (statements about your experience with M&C), account information, or ask specific financial questions on M&C social media websites.   • Posts and comments should be respectful and related to the purpose of the topic at hand. Posts that are inappropriate, disrespectful, inaccurate, off-topic, or otherwise do not meet these guidelines, will be removed.
  • Current M&C employees may not post comments without permission.
  • M&C wants to help you protect your privacy. While we maintain a presence on social media websites, we are not affiliated with them.  Therefore, it’s up to you to read and understand the privacy policies and terms of service for each social media platform in which you participate. Our pages are intended for US residents only.

When interacting with M&C employees

When you communicate with a M&C employee on social media websites, there are a few extra rules that you need to know, and that we ask you to follow.

  • Comments and “likes” should not be considered representative of client experiences, or indicative of future performance or success.
  • While we appreciate the support of our clients.  At this time we do not accept Recommendations or Endorsements concerning the investment advice, analysis, reporting or other services we provide.
  • We do not accept or display endorsements for skills not listed on employee profiles. Therefore, please only endorse employees for the specific skills they list on their profiles.
  • For your privacy, please don’t post account or service-related information on an employee’s social media page or website.
